Since this blog came into being last January, the Pink Tarha girls have immensely enjoyed the spot in the online world of global Pinoys. We are truly honored to be a part of the Saudi-based Pinoy bloggers community and are in awe at how much this group of online writers and fellow expats have contributed to make Filipinos known worldwide. We are also proud of all the Filipinos out there, saan mang panig ng mundo, who are continuously sharing their insights and knowledge not only to their kabayans, but to all who stumble upon their online homes.
Kahit na malayo pa ang Famas, Urian, at MMFF Awards Night, inuunahan na namin sila sa pamimigay at pagtanggap ng awards! (Taray!) Hindi na namin hahabaan pa ang aming speech. We would like to thank Nebz and Desert Aquaforce for giving us these awards:
Winner na winner! Basically, these awards are meant to be given to bloggers who have done something for you virtually. The Blogger Award is for the blog which you visit because you like it. No need to elaborate on that. The Neno Award is a creativity award for those who love to blog thus in our opinion, inspired us to blog with fervor. The Uber Amazing Blog Award is simply for amazing blogs which make us smile and laugh, give amazing info, have amazing designs... basta AH-MAY-ZING! While the Blogger Friendship Award is given to bloggers whom we've forged camaraderie (or makes us feel we want to befriend).
As part of the Neno Award, the Pink Tarha Girls* answer the question "Why do you love blogging?"
Shoegarfreeruby says Blogging is an outlet for me. It is quite liberating to blog of random thoughts, insignificant emotions and casual experiences nobody would really care about. It opened a new door for people like me to express things i would normally keep to myself.
Eyecandy says You know that image of a man atop a mountain, screaming his lungs out for the whole breadth of earth to hear? Blogging lets me do that, sans the hassle of hiking and being forced to wear heavy-duty boots (sooo not girly!). :P

We would like to give these awards to all the Pinoy expat bloggers found on the Ka-blogs website (special mention to all Saudi-based bloggers like us... favoritism?! hehe). Masyado pong marami ang mga bloggers kaya naman hindi na namin iisa-isahin. We feel that you all deserve these awards because through your blogs... you bring the world closer to home, and the Philippines closer to the whole world.

Ditto on the gutom part. I actually use the pictures to show my students what western food looks like. ^^ nagugutom ako lagi pag nakikita ko ang mga pics na un. ^^
